Runvio wasn't dreamed up inside a software company. It was built inside a product business, out of the frustration of running one without the right tools.
We develop, source, manufacture and distribute physical products ourselves, our own brands, wholesale lines and retail partnerships, running through factories, freight forwarders and buyers across three continents, with offices in Miami, Hong Kong and Shenzhen. For years, the operation ran the way most product businesses do: a CRM built for agencies, an inventory tool built for warehouses, a project tracker built for software teams, and the real picture living in a dozen spreadsheets and one person's head.
We tried everything on the market. The enterprise suites needed a six-month implementation and a consultant on retainer. The point solutions were excellent at one job and blind to every other. Nothing understood that in a product business, the deal, the purchase order, the shipment and the margin are the same story, and splitting that story across five tools is where the losses hide.
So we built the screen we wanted to look at every morning. One place where a buyer conversation connects to the PO it becomes, the container it ships in, and the margin it lands at. Runvio ran our own operation, five brands of it, long before it was a product. Every module exists because we needed it on a real Tuesday, not because a roadmap said so.
