The company
Shark Group is an international product-development and manufacturing group. Through Shark Design it takes clients' products from concept to shelf; through its own brands, iKit, Bobaby, Velara and Rolo, it designs, makes and sells its own. The team spans offices in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Miami, London and Dubai.
The challenge
Running a multi-brand product business means a lot of moving parts at once: client pipelines and wholesale deals, supplier purchase orders, retail orders, containers in transit, and margin on every SKU, across several brands and five time zones. Like most growing product companies, Shark Group was holding that picture together with spreadsheets, email and a handful of separate tools. There was no single, current view of the whole operation, and the real state of the business lived in someone's head.
